I picked this little fella up for mere RM250. Been reading about its pros and cons. It is actually quite an easy lens to live with. It is tiny for a fast F1.4 prime. Focusing ring is well damped. Then again, I was experimenting with zone focusing as I want to gear this lens for street photography. I like to see how well this lens cope.

Knowing shooting wide open at F1.4 is only good for center objects or portraits as the edge sharpness is simple quite soft. Closing down to F8-11 allow decent center to corner sharpness and very useful focus zone

I like the slightly muted color rendering like an old 1980s lens

Yeah, most importantly it gel well with the X-Pro2 body

I admit that Thailand is my favorite destination. I would travel to Thailand least 6 times a year either by motorcycle, car or by air.

One of my things to do is to visit the magnificent Thai Buddhist Wats (temples).  I find great peace at the prayers halls. At times, I was very fortunate to bump into the wat's abbot and a fair few times, I even got blessings by the abbots.

These are some of the pictures I taken over the years with my camera and with my mobile phones

as in now, Covid-19 is ravaging my country with record deaths and daily cases. thankfully, the vaccination progress is picking up paces and hopefully in time, we can win the battle with enough adults inoculated with vaccines.

this is my actually my first attempt at creating a photo-based website for my collections of photos. in no way, I am a trying to portray myself as a 'good' photographer. rather my objective is to share my passion with anyone who has the time to browse through my collection.  sharing my collections (crappy pictures or not) makes me happy
